05.01.2018: 0615 UTC: Posn: 06:17.8N - 003:19.7E, around 6.24 NM South of Lagos, Nigeria Duty crew onboard on board a tanker carrying out STS operations spotted two robbers near the forecastle. Alarm raised and crew mustered. Seeing the crew alertness, the robbers escaped empty handed. Incident reported to the Nigerian Navy.
