Five robbers boarded a bulk carrier underway. Duty Engineer sighted the robbers and informed the bridge. Alarm raised and crew mustered. Seeing the crew alertness, the robbers escaped empty handed. Incident reported to Singapore VTS. Marine Police boarded the vessel for investigation.
