Three unauthorised persons boarded an anchored container ship during heavy rain. Duty AB on routine rounds noticed the persons near the forward store and immediately notified the OOW. Alarm raised and crew mustered. Hearing the alarm and seeing the crew alertness, the persons escaped. A search was carried out. Ship’s properties were reported stolen. Incident reported to port control via VHF channel.
