FraudNet has a new member in ||Bermuda||, ||John Symon Wasty||, of ||Appleby (Bermuda) Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda||. John has been involved in some of the largest fraud and asset tracing matters in the past fifteen years in a variety of jurisdictions. He also has extensive experience in insolvencies and in directors and officers and corporate governance matters. He frequently advises on corporate, shareholder and funds disputes. John graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees. He was called to the Bar and admitted as a solicitor in British Columbia. Thereafter, he was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Hong Kong, called as a barrister and attorney in Bermuda, called to the Bar of New York in 2010 and has been admitted as a solicitor in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands). He is also an ADR Group Accredited Mediator. John is a member of the International Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He is also a member of the Bermuda Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and of the Law Societies of England and Wales, Hong Kong SAR and British Columbia.
